ASP 2023 Project Updates

Thursday, August 17, 2023:

The Farmcrest project will be sealed tomorrow with an asphalt reclamite rejuvenator.  The rejuvenator protects the new asphalt and extends the life of the roadway.  The process will include a truck putting down a liquid rejuvenating agent first.  Once the road has been saturated, sand will be spread out on the roadway surface to absorb the mixture in micro cracks.  This process will be completed on Friday August 18th.   Please do not park on the street from 8am-3pm.

Construction Crews have informed the Village that the digging up of the street is expected to be completed Tuesday, May 23, 2023. This means that they will be ready to begin work on the curbs.

Curb work along the inner loop of S. Farmcrest (blue line) is slated to begin on Thursday, May 25, and the inner loop of N. Farmcrest (red line) will begin on Wednesday, May 31.

All homeowners whose curbs are being poured are asked to park on the opposite side of the street until Saturday to allow the curbs time to cure. While curbs can be walked on within three hours of being poured, they cannot be driven across until 48 hours after pouring.

Assuming this work goes according to schedule on Wednesday, May 25, curb work along the red line will begin on Wednesday, May 31, the outer loop curb pour is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, June 1 and 2. Vehicles must be parked on the opposite side of the street of your home during the pour.

Please note that while we anticipate some possible interruptions to Rumpke service, emergency services are accessible and available throughout the process. Questions? Please contact Chris Fritsch of Amberley Village at 513-531-8675.
