Joint Economic Development Zone (JEDZ)

Sycamore Township established a Joint Economic Development Zone (JEDZ) with the Village of Amberley. Amberley Village administers and collects an earnings tax for Sycamore Township. This tax provides a source of funding for infrastructure improvements and services within the JEDZ.

Effective October 1, 2013 businesses and employees working within the JEDZ are required to pay municipal taxes of .75% on net profits or qualifying wages.

If your business or place of employment has an address that falls within the range or is shown on the map below, you are required to pay municipal taxes of .75% on net profits or qualifying wages per the Kenwood JEDZ Southwest District. The tax will be collected by Amberley Village.

7223 – 7629 Kenwood Road (Odd Addresses) **
7650 – 7799 Montgomery Road (All Addresses)**
4744 – 4760 Orchard Lane (All Addresses)

** 7275 Kenwood Road and 7754 Montgomery Road are exempt from the JEDZ
