Drug Takeback Day Returns 10/29
The next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be Saturday, October 29, 2022. National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. Amberley Village will participate from 10 – 2 p.m., allowing residents and neighbors to drop off unused or expired prescriptions. Please note that unused prescriptions must be removed from prescription bottles and placed in plastic zip-lock bags before they can be accepted.
The DEA will also accept vaping devices and cartridges at any of its drop-off locations during Take Back Day. It is important to note that DEA cannot accept devices containing lithium-ion batteries. If batteries cannot be removed prior to drop-off, DEA encourages individuals to consult with stores that recycle lithium-ion batteries.
