The Amberley Village Police-Fire Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration would like residents to participate in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.
The last Take-Back Day brought in over 985,000 pounds (492.7 tons) of unused or expired prescription medication. More than 4,000 law enforcement agencies participated with over 4,500 collection sites.
Simply bring your pills or patches for disposal to the Amberley Village Police-Fire Department, 7149 Ridge Road. No liquids, creams, empty containers, needles or sharps accepted. This is a free and anonymous service. No questions asked.
The Amberley Village Police-Fire Department has also made it possible for residents to drop-off unwanted prescriptions anytime throughout the year, 24-hours a day.
