Dara Wood Named to Council

Amberley Village welcomes Dara L. Wood as its newest councilmember, effective July 11, 2022 following her Oath of Office Ceremony at the regular meeting of council.  Ms. Wood replaces former Vice Mayor Natalie Wolf, who recently relocated out of Amberley Village.

Ms. Wood has lived in the Village for the past 20 years, and has also worked at Adath Israel in Amberley Village for more than 15 years.  Her professional background includes education, strategic planning, administration and organization, as well as donor relations, marketing and public relations, grant writing and fundraising and program development.  Councilmember Wood holds a bachelor of science in elementary education, as well as a graduate certificate in Jewish education, both from the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Wood has been actively involved in the community, with service to Amberely Village, Cincinnati Jewish Educator’s Council, Kids4Peace, Jewish Federation, Adath Israel and Jewish Teen Collective among others.
