Chief Wallace Warns Residents to Watch for Rise in Home Burglaries
Chief Richard Wallace is warning residents of an increase in the number of home burglaries, and issued the following letter to encourage partnership with the community to combat the problem. Immediately report any suspicious behavior, particularly unfamiliar vehicles with out of state plates. The increase in burglaries is believed to be tied to an organized group outside the United States. There are several ways in which residents can partner with the Amberley Village Police Department, including active reporting, being aware of surroundings, setting alarms, and displaying your AV sticker on your vehicle to help Police and your neighbors know that you belong.
